Starlings helps to deliver resident-led projects in local neighbourhoods. We administer and account for project funding; act as accountable body; employ staff; manage contracts and finance; and report to each resident-led partnership.

We act as Locally Trusted Organisation for the following projects:
A resident-led project on the Newington estate in Ramsgate, Kent.
A resident-led project in the Luton Arches area of Chatham, Kent.
PREVIOUS projects
A resident-led project in Newington, Ramsgate, from 2019 to 2023, with a vision to create a bright, vibrant community, where green spaces are reclaimed, used and maintained by local people.
Newington Lights Festival
With support from Arts Council England and Ramsgate Town Council we worked in partnership with Cohesion Plus, Future Foundry, NBL and local schools to deliver Newington’s first lantern procession in 2023.
Holiday Activities and Food Programme (Kent) HAF
Between Easter 2021 and Summer 2022 we delivered five holiday activity programmes for children aged 4 to 16 years, providing exciting activities and nutritious meals. The programme was funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and commissioned through The Education People.
